Anyone staying current with world events or simply socializing with friends knows that collectively and personally we are all being challenged. Our heart space is getting bombarded daily by technological advances, gender/relationship roles changing, economic and political systems failing to provide a secure environment to relax, connect, and simply love. There appears to be no end in sight, rather, quite the opposite as time seems to be quickening and the pace of change continues to increase.
These challenges, and their evolutionary intention can be seen and explained through the lens of both astrology and yoga. Our time together will be spent looking into the astrological representatives of both earthly (Venus), and divine (Neptune) love. Particularly this year and specifically at the time of this retreat Jupiter is transiting through the sign of Scorpio signaling a profound transformation of the why and how we unite with others to effect growth, deepening, and soul evolution. We will gather at the time of the full Moon with a beautiful “grand trine” of Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune in the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
Schedule:
Monday, May 28, 5-9pm: We will arrive and gather for dinner prior to the evening talk “What the #$%& is Goin’ On? An Astrological Overview of 2018” This 2 hour exploration into the current transits by Kaypacha will lay the foundation for our work together. THIS TALK IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - $25.
Tuesday, May 29, 9-5pm: Kaypacha will review the 12 signs of the zodiac, using description, mythology, movement, and music. A basic understanding of astrology is required for this course. If you are just beginning, it is mandatory that you listen to the FREE 16 hour “Astrology 101” webinar series that comes with your registration PRIOR TO the event.
After lunch Kaypacha will finish a quick review of the planets, houses, and aspects and assist everyone in identifying what planets are being triggered by this year’s transits with a focus on both Neptune and Venus in the natal chart.
Wednesday, May 30, 8-5pm (1 hour lunch): After kundalini yoga and breakfast, Kaypacha will go around the circle to give “mini-readings” to all participants (limited to 18). This will afford you the opportunity to understand how astrology works, your own personal life purpose as revealed in your chart, and how the planetary transits of 2018 will act differently in different people’s lives depending on their natal soul intention! The more open and willing we all are to sharing ourselves and our astrology the more everyone will learn and grow together.
Kaypacha:
